Soul Surf School

Soul Surf School has operated in Byron Bay, New South Wales since 2009, offering group and private surf lessons, kids lessons for ages 7 to 12, corporate team-building packages, surf-and-stay accommodation, and equipment hire covering surfboards, wetsuits, bikes, umbrellas, SUP boards, and snorkel gear. Each day the business selects from more than 10 beginner-friendly locations around Byron Bay based on conditions, aiming for calm, waist-deep water with small group instruction. It has held a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 15 consecutive years, with more than 1,100 TripAdvisor reviews, and received a Bronze Award at the 2025 NSW Tourism Awards from a field of over 230 nominees.
