Rusty Miller Surf

Rusty Miller Surf offers individual and family surf lessons in Byron Bay, New South Wales, for all skill levels from beginners through experienced surfers, including guidance to local breaks for more advanced students. The school's principal coach, Rusty Miller, has lived in Byron Bay since the 1970s and has been involved in all facets of the surf industry, from competition to films, media and board design, and has been teaching surfing in Byron Bay for decades. Beau Young, a two-time world longboard champion and son of surf legend Nat Young, has recently joined as an instructor. Lessons are held at Watego's Beach and The Pass, both within the Cape Byron Headland National Park.
