OMBE Surf

OMBE Surf is an online surf coaching platform founded and led by Clayton Nienaber, a former professional surfer, coach to the South African surf team, surfboard shaper who has made boards for Dane Reynolds and Kelly Slater, and co-developer of Spine-Tek board technology for Channel Islands. Nienaber has coached professional surfers including Jordy Smith, Michael February, Travis Logie and Ricky Basnett. OMBE offers over 30 structured surf progression programs and 1,000+ training videos covering technique such as the pop-up, bottom turn, cutback and snap, plus a 6-week beginner program, a 12-week intermediate program, two monthly live/replay group coaching sessions, and video feedback from coaches, aimed at beginner through advanced surfers. The business is based on the Gold Coast, QLD, and also operates a physical facility called The Surf Lab, with a community of 41,580 surfers worldwide.
