Land's Edge Surf School

Land's Edge Surf School operates from the north end of Seven Mile Beach at Gerroa, in the Illawarra region of NSW, about 1.5-2 hours south of Sydney. The school was established roughly 20 years ago. It offers group and private surf lessons, gift vouchers from $50, and outdoor education experiences delivered through the not-for-profit Land's Edge Foundation. Instructors are local residents experienced with the area's conditions, working at a ratio of no more than one instructor to eight participants. Soft surfboards, wetsuits and a first aid kit are provided. The school serves adults, families, school groups and individual participants, and holds all required permits and licences, with risk management, public liability, child protection and medical screening processes in place.
